Guess who came to preschool today...

The BLAZERS!!!

Some of the guys from the team read to us and played on the playground with us. Here's a taste of it:

We're going to their homecoming game tomorrow after our nap-nap, and we hope they win big over those bad guys from Ouachita Baptist.
By the way, mommy particularly likes a group of four girls that started at that school. To find out more, click here. (The video has good words if you have time to watch. You may need to right click and change the quality to "Low" if you don't have the great DSL connection that we do. Daddy can probably help you get one if you need it.)

As they say...

There's always next year.

Daddy's sad that the Braves are officially out of playoff contention. We were just starting to like cheering with our tomahawks, and now it's over until next year. At least we can spend more time cheering for football, and daddy's promising to take us to more 'Cats games and Blazer games.

Go Braves! (At least next year...)

It's Our Party...

We had such a good time at our birthday party!! Mommy put together a collage of some of the pictures from our party. We hope you like them. Thank you to everyone who came, we had so much fun! We got lots and lots of presents. Mommy had a very difficult time trying to find a place for all of them. Mama got us a dollhouse, Sadie got us dolls, Laura Paige got us Princess make-up, Max got us radios, Jared got us Hello Kitty towels and phones, Elizabeth got us Dora dolls, Emily got us some princess and Tinkerbell dolls, and the list can go on and on.

Sorry we've been away...

from our blog for a few days. It has been busy, with MaMa and Aunt Nancy coming, our parties, and then Grandma having emergency surgery. Good to know Grandma should go home tomorrow night or Thursday morning.

Here's a picture from our party at preschool. Daddy messed up and didn't get all of the pictures from MaMa's camera, so we'll either have to transfer them from the laptop or blog again from there soon.

Hugs and Kisses,
Erin and Megan

First Day, Hooray!!

Today was our first day of Preschool and we had so much fun. We got our own bookbags and we painted hearts using marbles, we made a basket of strawberries and colored a picture of a bird. We also got to go outside and play on the playground and then we went inside and had our snack. We had raisins and cookies, yummy! Here are some pictures from our first day.

And here are some pictures from our school...

We can't wait to go back to school on Friday. Mommy says we can take cupcakes to share with our new friends for our birthday!! And Mama and Aunt Nancy will be here to see our room.

Another storm :(

We made it through more than a quarter of Blazer football before another storm caused a delay. To top that off, Blaze (a.k.a. "the pumpkin") tried to say 'hi' to Megan. She spent the rest of the time we were there telling Daddy she wanted to go home, she didn't want football anymore, she was tired, etc., etc. Maybe one day we can go to a game and enjoy it all.

Weekend update

OK, Mommy was watching the US Open on TV, and she says she wouldn't mind having one of these:

Then again, she might not be in much of a negotiating position. She's currently playing this:

In fact, she's playing so much that she hasn't had much time to practice this:

I don't think she'll even get around to the two movies she lifted from Javon's office. Daddy says video games can be addicting. We just wish we had our friends here to spend the long weekend with us. Maybe the rain will hold off long enough for us to go to the Blazer game. That way Mommy can clean some before MaMa and Great Aunt Nancy come next week. I wonder if MaMa should bring her scissors...
