Our short vacation

We had a short vacation from Sunday to Tuesday in Orlando (Atlando, if you ask Erin). Dawn and Javon came with us. Here is a sample of Downtown Disney. More professional-looking pictures taken with a Nikon D3 at Gaylord Palms available here.

Here are a few more pictures that Mommy thought should be on the blog...

Erin and Megan got a little hungry waiting to eat at the Rainforest Cafe, so we got them these huge Mickey Cookies to eat while we waited. Mommy had a big Snickerdoodle and Dawn had a huge Rice Krispie Treat.

And now we're on to Mr. Potato Head. This was lots of fun. We now have the pieces to make a Cinderella, Tinkerbell and Minnie Mouse Potato Head. They're very cute.

Mommy had to have a shot with us and the Winnie the Pooh Gang.

Here is Megan, Mommy and Erin on the train. We practically had to force Megan onto the train but Erin had a blast.

Dawn and Megan on the Carousel. This was after the train incident. Megan was not thrilled with the train at all.
Here is Javon doing what he does best. According to him, Mommy was a good photojournalist with this picture :)
And our favorite thing...We got new PJ's. Erin gets to be Ariel at bedtime and...

Daddy broke it!

Yes, that's a washing machine. We came home from church to find Daddy finishing a load of laundry with manual intervention. He had a hand inside and a hand pushing a screwdriver through a hole. He says the 'lid switch' broke.
We went to bed right after he left to get a replacement switch. Too bad Sears, Lowe's, and Home Depot don't carry washing machine parts. Daddy at least covered it up again until he can get to an appliance store tomorrow.

...and threat of boycott...pictures of us!

After some remarks about our blog allegedly shifting to focus on Blazers and videos that are only tenuously linked to us, we have decided to post a few more pictures from Christmas. We'd probably have some good-looking, cute ones to show you, but our professional photographer has had a relatively light schedule and spent too much time with us to get caught up on his for-profit work.

This one was us walking in crunchy ice right at sunset. You'll have to click on it to enlarge it and see the sparkly ice.

Megan likes to eat ice, but the chunk was a bit too much.

Here we are with Cousin Emily. She was just starting to get used to us not being little babies anymore when we had to leave and come back home.
After mastering the art of selective hug-giving, Erin spends some quality time with Uncle Todd, Aunt Carly, the Wii Zapper, and one of Mama's toys.
