Ruth R. Ebersole
Ruth R. Ebersole, 87, formerly of 1800 Thompson Ave. Lebanon died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 in Countryside Christian Community, N. Annville Twp.
She was the wife of Roy I. Ebersole with whom she celebrated their 68th Wedding Anniversary this past September 2nd.
Born in Annville on March 24, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Jennie Lutz Rohland. Her and her husband were the co-owners of Ebersole's Auction, N. Annville Twp.
Ruth was a 1937 graduate of Annville High School; a member of New Hope Brethren in Christ Church, Linglestown where she conducted the Children's, Youth, and Adult Choirs and was in charge of the Children's Sunday School Department.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Kenneth R., husband of Terry Ebersole of Annville and David L., husband of Nancy Ebersole of Palmyra; two daughters, Nancy, wife of David Ritchie of Annville and Brenda, wife of Ted Hartman of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and a daughter-in-law, Frances L. Ebersole. She was the last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Ebersole.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM from the Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in United Zion Cemetery, N. Annville Twp. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 9 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Hope Church Building Fund 584 Colonial Club Drive Harrisburg, PA 17112.
