A little Saturday activity

So, on Saturday, Mommy had to go to Lowe's to get machine screws and nuts to fix the kitchen set in her preschool room. When we walked in, the lady at customer service asked if we were going to go build airplanes in the lumber department. Well, as soon as we heard that, we wanted to do it. After Mommy got what she needed, we headed over to the lumber department and signed up to build a boat, not an airplane. We got aprons with our names on them and work goggles to be safe. Then we went to make our boats. We used hammers and nails and think we did a pretty good job!

Megan and Daddy working on the boat. Watch your fingers, Daddy!

Erin working on her boat. Mommy did help, but had to stop to take the picture.

You better watch out, Erin is pretty wild with a hammer. At one point, it was positioned over Mommy's head!

Megan was a little more reserved with the hammer. Daddy had to help get the nails in the rest of the way for her.

The finished product!
