The planes show

Daddy took us to Moody Air Force Base this morning for Moody Airfest 2007. We didn't stay to see the real air show. We did see some planes and helicopters, but the best part was the bouncy house. We did see some planes in the sky, plus some people dropping with parachutes. We had to come home and rest so that we could go to Elizabeth Grace's birthday party. Sometimes we have fun being with just Daddy.

This was a big one! No wonder they call it the C-5 Galaxy.
Here's an F-15 from Eglin AFB, Florida.

This is an F-16 from Shaw AFB, SC.

These are F-16s, too. The Thunderbirds even park their jets in precision.See, their diagonals would make even a drum corps judge happy.

Just in case you still aren't sure they park them well, here's the front view with orange barrels included. Looks like the local guys need to get their act together on spacing those. The military dog and some strong sheriff's deputies rummaged through it and looked under the hood to make sure it was safe. Then we had to walk through a metal detector to access the flight line. Daddy did less than that just to see the President...but that was a long time ago.

As we said...the best part of the show was...

Wow, that sounds like fun. I went to the airshow a long time ago, but they didn't have the fun bouncy houses back then. You girls have been busy! Pumpkins, planes, bouncy houses and birthday parties!

I wish they had a bounce house when I went to the air show. I just remember seeing a lady missing a leg...or was it an arm? It freaked me out either way.
