Braves Game on Independence Day

We went to Atlanta for what was more or less a Halter get-together over the 4th. We spent some time at Aunt Amelia and Uncle Ross's house. There were lots of things planned, even after we left, but the big thing for us was going to a Braves game. Since we didn't have good naps on Thursday and didn't sleep much Thursday night, we weren't exactly ready to stay up late, but we managed.
We stopped in at what used to be called Tooner Field, but we weren't really impressed. Here we are in a cartoon.
This was the biggest flag ever at Turner Field.

The huge Coke bottle and its new sidekick, the Chick-fil-A cow. Kelly Johnson hit a home run, so we got to see fireworks from the Coke bottle. The cow did the chop some, but he's a bit silly.

Tim Hudson is all warmed up, along with Corky Miller and Brian McCann.
Brian McCann catches his breath after his RBI single. This one's from Daddy's binoculars.
Erin liked the postgame fireworks!
Megan thought the big ones were too loud. Mama had to help cover her ears. Did we mention Michael likes gluten-free snacks?
